Анотація
Розгляд реалізації просторово-часового континууму в текстах творів У. С. Моема дозволяє виявити порушення тимчасового континууму, а саме проспективний та проспективно-ретроспективний дисконтинуум. Ретроспекція в структурі тексту творів У. С. Моема має різні форми презентації [2]. Можливо розрізнити два типи ретроспекції: композиційно-текстову та відсильну. Наявність у тексті композиційно-текстової ретроспекції веде до утворення відрізка тексту, який можна назвати ретроспективною частиною твору.
Examining the implementation of the space-time continuum in the texts of U. S. Maugham's works allows us to identify a violation of the temporal continuum, namely the prospective and prospective-retrospective discontinuum. Retrospection in the structure of the text of the works of U.S. Maugham has different forms of presentation [2]. It is possible to distinguish two types of retrospection: compositional-textual and extemporaneous. The presence of compositional-textual retrospection in the text leads to the formation of a segment of the text, which can be called a retrospective part of the work.
