dc.description.abstractPeer tutoring in special and inclusive education is a strategy where higher performing students are paired with lower-performing students or students with disabilities to review or teach academic material. This strategy has been proven to help students on both sides’ master content and gain self-confidence in specific skills. The peer tutoring definition allows for different types of student pairings. Some models pair peers of similar abilities, while other models pair a higher-performing student with a lower-performing student for a target skill. Some models pair students of different ages. Teachers should pair students based on the skill being addressed ascarefully prescribed format and steps, while other peer tutoring is less formal. Peer tutoring has been a part of the American education system for many years and has been the subject of much research and development. well as on their behavioural and personality needs. Взаємне наставництво у спеціальній та інклюзивній освіті - це стратегія, за якої учні з кращими показниками в навчанні об'єднуються в пари з учнями з нижчими показниками або учнями з інвалідністю для повторення чи викладання академічного матеріалу. Доведено, що ця стратегія допомагає учням з обох сторін засвоїти навчальний матеріал і набути впевненості у власних силах. Визначення "рівний-рівному" допускає різні типи об'єднання учнів у пари. Деякі моделі об'єднують в пари учнів зі схожими здібностями, тоді як інші моделі об'єднують в пари учня з вищими показниками з учнем з нижчими показниками для розвитку цільової навички. Деякі моделі об'єднують в пари учнів різного віку. Вчителі повинні об'єднувати учнів у пари на основі навичок, які відпрацьовуються, з дотриманням ретельно прописаного формату та етапів, тоді як інші моделі наставництва менш формальні. Наставництво з боку однолітків є частиною американської системи освіти вже багато років і є предметом багатьох досліджень і розробок. а також на їхні поведінкові та особистісні потреби.
