Анотація
Стаття присвячена дослідженню особливостей мовної організації риторичних текстів «учительних» діалогів видатного українського філософа, письменника, просвітителя Г. С. Сковороди, що є актуальним і на сьогодні, оскільки його тексти побудовані на класичних зразках красномовства, які й донині слугують взірцем ораторського мистецтва. Мета – з’ясувати структурно-змістові та мовні особливості текстів діалогів Г. С. Сковороди як зразка педагогічної риторики. Установлено, що діалоги написані середнім стилем, бо зорієнтовані на широкі верстви можливих комунікантів, що зумовило й використання особливих мовних засобів. The article is dedicated to the analysis of specific features of the language organization of rhetorical texts of “teaching” dialogues written by an outstanding Ukrainian philosopher, writer and enlightener H. S. Skovoroda. This aspect is topical for the modern philology as these texts are built in accord with classical ancient and medieval examples of eloquence, in particular, Socrates’ art of conversation, which is considered the model of oratorical art until nowadays. The aim of the research is to study out structural-content and linguistic specificity of H. S. Skovoroda’s dialogues as the model of pedagogical rhetoric. To achieve the aim it is necessary to outline genre and style character of the “teaching” dialogues, concentrate our attention on their content orientation and define those language means that ensure the effectiveness of such conversations. It has been specified that the dialogues are written in the middle style (according to Lomonosov’s three-style classification) because they aim at wide strata of possible communicants, which presupposes the use of specific language means. Dialogical form – a rhetorical question-riddle and the rhetorician’s answer – has purely didactic intention and bases on the Socratic and Platonic ancient traditions. The author widely uses simple environmental analogies, archetypal images and symbols to interpret philosophical ideas; elements of intermezzo add brightness to the conversation. The dialogues have a number of imperative constructions that express the author’s passionate address to the listener and his call to action in accordance with the ethics of Christianity; a chain of rhetorical questions performs the same task. H. S. Skovoroda’s “teaching” dialogues are rhetorically perfect works, which serve the model of public speaking for the educators even today.
