dc.description.abstractПростір і час належать до фундаментальних понять культури та мислення, які знаходять відбиття в художньому дискурсі. Мета статті – дослідити особливості художнього простору й часу та мовні засоби їхнього вираження в мові малої прози М. Вінграновського (на матеріалі оповідання «Гусенятко»). Як показує дослідження, М. Вінграновський переважно вдається до відтворення циклічності часу. Образи пір року і частин доби є найбільш частотними. У творі ширше представлений горизонтальний простір, відповідно й лексика виражає земні реалії. Вертикальний та горизонтальний простір взаємодіють і становлять цілісний світ у художньому дискурсі. Space and time are fundamental concepts of culture and thinking that are reflected in artistic discourse. The relevance of the study is due to the need to analyse the lexico-semantic field of space and time in the text of the story as a separate fragment of the linguistic picture of the world, and the fact that the specificity of space and time in the work of M. Vinhranovskyi is little studied. The purpose of the article is to research peculiarities of artistic space and time and linguistic means of their expression in the language of the small prose by M. Vinhranovskyi (based on the material of the story “Huseniatko” (“Gosling”)). About a hundred artistic contexts with the value of space and time were used for the analysis. The peculiarities of the expression and functioning of space and time in artistic discourse are explored in the work. The lingual means of expressing time and space do not fully coincide with those of traditional grammar. It is a broader grammatical and contextual complex of tools aimed at performing a single discursive function. According to the study, M. Vinhranovskyi mainly resorts to the reproduction of cyclicality of time. Accordingly, the images of the seasons and parts of the day become important. Images of the seasons and parts of the day are the most frequent, conveying the idea of cyclicality, the length of time. Temporal images appear as objects of depiction, so metaphorical and metonymic contexts with temporal semantics are indicative. The artistic space in the analysed work can be divided into horizontal (lower) and vertical (upper). Horizontal space is more widely represented in the work; the space of the earth, which contains all the realities that characterize it. Accordingly, vocabulary expresses earthly realities. Vertical and horizontal space interact and form a holistic world. The symbiosis of temporal-spatial lingual images is indicative, reflecting the complete artistic expression of the linguistic picture of the world of M. Vinhranovskyi.uk_UA.UTF-8
