«МЕМ» ЯК БАЗОВА ОДИНИЦЯ СУЧАСНОЇ КУЛЬТУРНОЇ ЕВОЛЮЦІЇ

Анотація
Розглянуто проблематику культурної еволюції. Стверджується, що головна відмінність між еволюцією природи та еволюцією культури полягає лише в темпах їхньої динаміки. Зазначається, на основі концепції Р. Докінза, що основою еволюційного процесу культури виступає «мем» - молекула-реплікант - одиниця передачі культурної спадщини. Зафіксовано, що «мемам» властива висока стійкість, підвищена тривалість існування, точність копіювання. Аргументовано, що процес розвитку моди, посилює еволюційні процеси в культурі, а недовговічність існування моди сприяє її динаміці, що призводить до змін культурного простору індивіда та, в свою чергу, посилює культурну еволюцію. The problems of cultural evolution are considered. It is noted that the similarity of biological and cultural evolution emphasizes the fact that evolutionary processes in culture, as in nature, are impossible if their constituent elements remain unchanged, that is, the absence of changes in culture or nature denies any evolution. It is argued that the main difference between the evolution of nature and the evolution of culture is only in the pace of their dynamics. It is noted, based on the concept of R. Dawkins, that the basis of the evolutionary process of culture is a "meme" - a replicant molecule - a unit of cultural heritage. It is recorded that "memes" are characterized by high stability, increased lifespan, accuracy of copying. It is argued that the process of fashion development enhances the evolutionary processes in culture, and the short life of fashion contributes to its dynamics, which leads to changes in the cultural space of the individual and, in turn, enhances cultural evolution. It is claimed that memes that are replicated with increased accuracy are passed down from generation to generation in the form of rules, norms, patterns of behavior; to such memoir complexes, it is necessary to carry moral principles, traditions - accordingly it becomes possible to understand existence in various cultures of rather dissimilar interpretations. It is highlighted that meme is a unit of cultural heritage transmission and originated as a new type of replicator, and its survival is similar to the survival of genes in the gene pool; accordingly, the qualities that promote meme survival are similar to the survival qualities of genes: longevity, fertility, and copying accuracy. It is concluded that the laws of cultural development are coherent with the laws of biological evolution.
