dc.description.abstractСтаття присвячена актуальним питанням трактування поняття «толерантність» у сучасній науково-педагогічній думці Франції. Проаналізовані погляди французьких учених щодо визначення поняття «толерантність», проаналізовано еволюцію цього терміну в історичній ретроспективі та окреслено особливості його вживання в сучасній науковій та суспільній думці Франції. Зокрема, було висловлено думку, що хоча даний термін активно використовується як у фаховій педагогічній літературі, так і в нормативних документах державного рівня, дотепер бракує чіткого його визначення. Статья посвящена актуальным вопросам трактовки понятия «толерантность» в современной научно-педагогической мысли Франции. Проанализированы взгляды французских ученых относительно определения понятия «толерантность», проанализирована эволюция этого термина в исторической ретроспективе и обозначены особенности его применения в современной научной и общественной мысли Франции. В частности, было высказано мнение, что хотя данный термин активно используется как в профессиональной педагогической литературе, так и в нормативных документах государственного уровня, до сих пор отсутствует его четкое определение. In France, the leading role of education in the formation of tolerance as a person's value and quality in the younger generation is recognized. The implantation of ideas of tolerance is one of the tasks of the education system and the subject of research by many French scholars. In this context, consideration of tolerance as a scientific and pedagogical problem in France becomes relevant. This article is devoted to the actual questions of the interpretation of the concept of "tolerance" in the modern scientific and pedagogical thought of France. The views of the French scientists on the definition of the concept of "tolerance", the evolution of this term in the historical retrospective and the features of the use of the term "tolerance" in the modern scientific and public opinion of France are outlined. French scholars define tolerance as respect for the will of others, their behavior, way of thinking, political and religious views. They consider it as a social value, the norm of social life, the principle of human relationships, behavior, quality of the individual. According to French scholars, tolerance predetermines the need for certain limits or "tolerance thresholds." Therefore, the task of the teacher is twofold: to encourage the creation of a sense of boundaries, and at the same time, learn to recognize the freedom of another person. Respect and tolerance are often seen as equivalent concepts, but it must be taken into account that respect is an ethical principle, and tolerance is political and social. But both respect and tolerance are common in that they can be learned, and this is the mission of the school. Scientists note that tolerance logically follows from the negative sense of intolerance. Thus, the modern pedagogical thought of France, based on the achievements of thinkers and teachers of the past, defines tolerance as a mandatory property of the individual, which, however, is determined by a certain subjectivity regarding the limits and manifestations, but is also acquired through the work of the education system and education in general and teacher in particular. Also, despite the active use of the term in various normative documents at the state and local levels, the definition of this concept in the writings of modern French scholars is characterized by a certain subjectivity of perception and blurriness.uk_UA.UTF-8
