dc.description.abstractМета статті полягала у визначенні сутності лідерського потенціалу керівника закладу освіти та виокремленні підходів до його розвитку. Використано такі методи дослідження, як: аналіз, синтез, зіставлення, систематизація, метод наукової екстраполяції. У статті зазначено, що гуманістичний менеджмент спираються на людиноцентристську філософію та концепцію лідерства. Визначено, що лідерський потенціал керівника являє собою складне утворення: комплекс особистісних якостей, які знаходять прояв під час різних ситуацій; здатність реалізувати лідерські технології та техніки управлінської діяльності; досвід професійних комунікацій та соціальних стосунків. Запропоновано розділи проєкту розвитку лідерського потенціалу та їхнє змістове наповнення. Дійшли висновку, що під час призначення на керівні посади доцільно враховувати лідерський потенціал майбутнього керівника, а вже практикуючим керівникам – створювати проєкти розвитку лідерської компетентності. Перспективними проблемами досліджень є розробляння системи формування лідерського потенціалу керівника. The purpose of the article is to determine the essence of the leadership potential of the head of the educational institution and to identify approaches to its development. Such research methods are used as: analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization, method of scientific extrapolation. The article states that humanistic management is based on a human-centered philosophy and the concept of leadership. Traditional and new personnel management systems are characterized by such features as: stability – change and development; control – delegation of responsibility and trust; egocentrism – corporate values; populism – business activity; uniformity and mediocrity – a variety of ideas, approaches, techniques; overestimation of achievements - competitiveness and –reputation. It is determined that the leadership potential of the head of the educational institution is a complex formation: a set of personal qualities that are manifested in different situations; ability to implement leadership technologies and management techniques; experience in professional communications and social relations. It is substantiated that the leadership potential of the head should be developed in the following components: professional, personal and emotional competence. Examples of components of these components are given. The sections of the project of leadership potential development and their content are offered. It is concluded that when appointing to executive positions it is advisable to take into account the leadership potential of the future head of the educational establishment, and practicing heads – to realize the importance of working to assert their position as a leader, to create projects of self-development and leadership competence. Promising research issues are the development of a system of leadership development of the head of educational institution during his training in management and in the postgraduate period.
