Анотація
У відповідності до Лісового кодексу України, ліси України є національним багатством, що виконують ряд функцій та є джерелом забезпечення лісових ресурсів для суспільства. Саме тому питання вивчення та охорони, примноження лісових ресурсів особливо актуальне в умовах повномасштабного вторгнення та збройної агресії росії проти України. В роботі узагальнено результати досліджень лісів Українських Карпат багатьох науковців з сучасної суверенної території України, дослідників з-за кордону, а також природоохоронців тих держав та імперій, до складу яких входили вказані гірські території в минулому. Діячів науки, які в різний час досліджували ліси Українських Карпат протягом XIX-XX ст. та початку ХХІ століття. В статті представлені хронологія, напрямки та основні результати вивчення лісів цього регіону, їх біорізноманіття (флори та рослинності), робиться акцент на розвитку природно-заповідного фонду Українських Карпат, як результату глибоких та багаторічних наукових досліджень різних вчених. Основна увага відведена фундаментальним працям таких всесвітньо відомих науковців, як Алоїс Златнік (A. Zlatnik), проф. С. А. Генсірук, проф. М. А. Голубець, проф. С. М. Стойко та інших. Вивчено досвід не лише вказаних вище вчених, а й виділено актуальні напрямки подальших лісівничих досліджень, зокрема, деревостанів Буковинських Карпат. З аналізу літературних джерел випливає, що ліси Буковиських Карпат, на противагу лісовим екосистемам Закарпаття, Горган, Чорногори, верхів’я Дністра тощо й до сьогодні є найменш вивченими та потребують аналізу стану збереженості корінних деревостанів у цьому регіоні. Водночас, існує перспектива, на основі подальших досліджень, збільшення площі природно-заповідного фонду Буковини та Українських Карпат вцілому шляхом покриття цінних високогірних лісових масивів Буковинських Карпат об’єктами природно-заповідного фонду високого рангу, якими є національні природні парки (НПП). На думку автора, такі цінні лісові масиви слід охороняти шляхом розширення вже існуючих НПП регіону. In accordance with the Forest сode of Ukraine, the woods of Ukraine are its national wealth that perform a number of functions and are source for requirements satisfaction of society in forest resources. That is why the issue of study and protection, increase of forest resources is especially relevant in the conditions of full-scale invasion and armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine. The work summarizes the results of the research of many scientists (both from Ukraine and from abroad), who at different times during the XIX-XX centuries and the beginning of the 21st century studied the forests of the Ukrainian Carpathians. The work summarizes the results of research of the Ukrainian Carpathians forests by many scientists from the modern sovereign territory of Ukraine, researchers from abroad, as well as conservationists of those countries and empires that included the specified mountain areas in the past. The scientists, who at different times during the 19th and 20th centuries and at the beginning of the 21st century explored the forests of the Ukrainian Carpathians. The article presents the chronology, directions and main results of the study of the forests of this region, their biodiversity (flora and vegetation), the emphasis is placed on the development of the nature reserve fund of the Ukrainian Carpathians, as a result of deep and long-term scientific research by various scientists. The main attention is paid to the fundamental works of such worldrenowned scientists as Alois Zlatnik, prof. S. A. Gensiruk, prof. M. A. Golubets, prof. S. M. Stoyko and others. The experience of not only the above-mentioned scientists was studied, but also the actual directions of further forestry research, in particular, the stands of the Bukovynian Carpathians, were highlighted. From the analysis of literary sources, it follows that the forests of the Bukovynian Carpathians, in contrast to the forest ecosystems of Transcarpathia, Gorgan, Chornogora, the headwaters of the Dniester river etc., are still the least studied and require an analysis of the state of preservation of native stands in this region. At the same time, there is a prospect, based on further research, of increasing the area of the nature reserve fund of Bukovyna and the Ukrainian Carpathians as a whole by covering the valuable high-altitude forest massifs of the Bukovynian Carpathians with high-ranking nature reserve fund objects, which are national parks. In the opinion of the author, such valuable forest areas should be protected by expanding the already existing national parks of the region.
