Анотація
The article deals with structural models and ways of formation of the U.S. presidents’ nicknames. It has been found that the most common types are informal anthroponyms derived from appellatives and ‘mixed’ multicomponent units based on both appellatives and onyms, as these nicknames have a more clearly expressed motivation.
