Анотація
Holidays and celebrations have a special place in the modern culture of the Ukrainian people. At all times, holidays and celebrations have been perceived in the community as a solemn, joyful and important event. Traditional Ukrainian was an object of social integration and was subject to socially significant principles. Despite profound changes, the ancient basis is preserved in the current holidays and celebrations, ancient elements of traditional folk celebrations and entertainment are being revived. Involvement in celebrations encourages the preservation of national artistic achievements, folk customs and rites. The celebration is perceived as a set of socio-cultural components, emotional-symbolic, aesthetic activity and value-worldview beliefs. During the celebrations, Ukrainians talked a lot with relatives, godfathers, neighbors, and friends. The concept of modern celebrations has gone beyond the ethnographic paradigm, although most current holidays reflect the system of cultural-historical memory and traditions of their ethnic group. Celebrations as the result and result of purposeful work, which required a certain tension, strength of spirit, organization and limitations, were desirable and predictable. The dualism of traditional and innovative is an ethno-integrating element of modern celebrations, thanks to which national holidays remain an important component of the current civilization. Святам і святкуванням належить важливе місце в сучасній культурі українського народу. За усіх часів свята і святкування сприймалися в громаді як урочисті, радісні й особливі події. Традиційне українське було об’єктом соціальної інтеграції та підпорядковувалося суспільно значущим засадам. Попри глибокі зміни, в нинішніх святах і святкуваннях зберігається старовинне підґрунтя, відроджуються прадавні елементи традиційних народних святкувань та розваг. Залучення до святкувань спонукає до збереження національних мистецьких здобутків, народних звичаїв та обрядів. Святкування сприймається як сукупність соціокультурної складової, емоційно-символічної, естетичної діяльності та ціннісно-світоглядних переконань. Під час святкувань українці багато спілкувалися з родичами, кумами, сусідами, друзями. Концепція сучасних святкувань вийшла за межі етнографічної парадигми, хоча більшість нинішніх свят відображають систему культурно-історичної пам’яті і традицій свого етносу. Святкування як підсумок та результат цілеспрямованої праці, яка вимагала певної напруги, сили духу, організованості й обмежень, були бажаними та передбачуваними. Дуалізм традиційного та інноваційного є етноінтегруючим елементом сучасних святкувань, завдяки чому народні свята залишаються важливою складовою нинішньої цивілізації.
